JobRadar vs Naukri and foundit alerts

The honest framing first: these aren't competitors we're trying to talk you out of. Naukri and foundit.in are two of the eight source families JobRadar reads every morning. The question is what happens around them.

  Aggregator alerts JobRadar
Coverage That aggregator's own index Naukri and foundit.in plus 1000+ company ATS feeds, YC, Hacker News, Jobicy, RemoteOK and targeted search
Matching Keywords, experience band, location An AI reads the full description against your full resume-derived profile
Volume High — that's the business model Only 7+/10, with a daily ceiling. Some days: nothing
Duplicates One role, several consultancies, several alerts Collapsed to one, and never shown to you twice
Your data Profile is visible to recruiters who search it Nobody browses you; the matching profile carries no name or email
Calls from consultancies A known side effect of a searchable profile Not possible — there's no recruiter side

What actually changes

The aggregator is the floor, not the ceiling

India's big boards are genuinely good at breadth, and JobRadar leans on them for exactly that — Naukri is queried with keywords built from your own roles and cities, and foundit.in carries the sales, marketing and operations roles the tech-only sources simply don't have.

What a board can't do is tell you about a role that was never posted to it. A funded startup in Bengaluru running Greenhouse, an EU company hiring with visa sponsorship on Personio, a team collecting applications through a Tally form linked in a Slack community — none of those reach an aggregator's index, so no alert built on that index can mention them.

That gap is most of what JobRadar adds. See the full source list, including the parts where coverage is thin.

The duplicate problem, specifically.

One opening listed by four staffing consultancies is four alerts, four job pages and four "is this the same role?" moments.

JobRadar remembers every posting it has shown you in a private history, so repeats and re-syndications collapse into the one message you already read — and yesterday's listings don't come back tomorrow.

Straight answers

When an aggregator alert is the better tool

  • You want to be found. A searchable Naukri profile brings inbound recruiter calls. Some people want exactly that. JobRadar structurally cannot offer it.
  • You're browsing, not hunting. If you like scrolling a list and judging for yourself, a board is built for that and JobRadar is the opposite of it — there's nothing to browse.
  • Very high-volume, low-specificity searches. If your criteria are broad and you genuinely want everything, a threshold at 7/10 is working against you.
  • US-onsite roles. Our coverage there is deliberately thin. Use something else.

Most people should run both. Keep the profile that makes you findable. Let JobRadar do the reading — the boards, the ATS feeds no board indexes, and the scoring that decides which four are worth your morning.
