Difference one
LinkedIn's alert is excellent at what it does, and what it does is search LinkedIn. If a company posts a role to their Greenhouse board, tells their team, and never buys a LinkedIn job slot for it, no LinkedIn alert can fire — there is nothing there to fire on.
This happens constantly, and disproportionately at the companies people actually want to join: small, fast, cost-conscious teams who post to their own applicant tracking system and a Slack community and consider the job advertised.
